3M™ GoggleGear™ Safety Goggles help protect eyes from flying particles with a soft foam flange that seals the entire lens perimeter, reducing the chances for contaminants to reach the eyes. These goggles may be used with existing 3M Lexa™ Protective Eyewear (sold separately). To allow for clearer vision, the goggles include top and bottom vent channels to increase airflow and help minimize fogging. Wrap around lens provides a wide field of view to enhance sightlines. The soft flange, lightweight frame and low profile design all combine to enhance comfort. Goggles come fully assembled and ready to wear. An adjustable headband keeps the goggles securely in place to ensure eye protection in the workplace. The polycarbonate lenses absorb 99.9% UV rays. These safety goggles are recommended for the following tasks: assembly and mechanical, chipping, chiseling, cleaning, drilling, grinding, machining, masonry, metal repair, painting, pouring/casting, power fastening, riveting, sanding, and sawing. Industries in which these goggles are commonly used include construction, general manufacturing, military tactical, mining, oil and gas, and transportation. These safety goggles meet the requirements of ANSI Z87.1-2015.
