Stainless steel split lock washer prevents nuts and bolts from turning, slipping, and coming loose because of vibration and torque. These fasteners contain split ends that help "lock" into the mating material, thus providing a locking feature when tightened beneath a nut.
- Appropriate for marine applications (match with Grade 18-8 washers and nuts)
- Commonly used in applications where two pieces of wood are being joined together
- Split ends grip the material surface to prevent loosening during vibration
- #18-8 stainless steel finish combines a polished look with superior protection against rust and corrosion
